Description: This is the blue-eyed variant of the popular Albino Bushynose Pleco. Albino Bushynose Plecos are great algae eaters in both planted and regular aquariums alike. These fish originate from South America and prefer softer water with plenty of tannins leached from driftwood. This fish can be acclimated to harder water with a higher pH, but this should be done through the drip acclimation method. The Albino Blue Eye Ancistrus is an awesome addition to any aquarium that needs nuisance algae control, as this pleco is peaceful towards other tank mates and is fairly hardy. Feed veggie-rich foods supplemented with tropical flakes or pellets to offer a balanced diet.
