The Blueair Central Furnace Filter Starter Kit is designed to work with the furnace or forced air system in your home or office. Installing the MX2 Charger and filter in your furnace can drastically improve the quality of air circulating in the building. The MX2 charger plugs into the electrical outlets near the return air grills in your home. Once plugged in, the MX2 will negatively charge particles passing by it. After replacing the old furnace filter with the new Blueair filter, you will be ready to run your furnace filter system.

Like filters in Blueair units, Blueair Furnace Filters are constructed with positively charged fibers to attract the negatively charged particles passing by. These particles stick to the filter media where they will stay until the filter is changed. For most effective usage, it is recommended that these filters be changed every six months, or more often depending upon pollution levels and usage. Included with the kit is a filter timer to help you keep track of when it is time to change your filter.

A one year limited warranty is included with the Blueair Central Furnace Filter Starter Kit. You do have the option to extend the warranty for free to a five year limited warranty by filling out the included card.
