First measure the outside diameter of the brake tube accurately, then select the appropriate hole in the flaring yoke2. Place it into the appropriate hole in the flaring yoke, being careful not to pull the brake line out too far, and then tighten the butterfly nut on the flaring rod (Hint: don't over-tighten the butterfly nut)3. Slowly rotate the handle of the flaring cone so that the cone head gradually approaches the brake line port and applies pressureDouble Flaring Procedure1. Remove the adapter of the desired size and tighten the butterfly nut on the flare rod after securing the exposed portion of the brake line at the same height as the top of the adapter (TIP: do not over tighten the butterfly nut)2. Place the adapter into the brake line port and slowly tighten the flare cone, pressing down vertically and keeping the adapter and flare yoke aligned3. Repeat the single flaring steps
